Press Release: Adelaide's Announces Holiday Pop-Up in Portland
Adelaide's is excited to announce a three-day pop-up event in downtown Portland, taking place from December 10 through December 12. The pop-up will feature limited-edition pieces from our holiday collection, a selection of small-batch ceramics, and in-person workshops with our makers.
Event highlights
- Limited-edition capsule — an exclusive run of four pieces available only at the pop-up
- Makers Market — curated vendors showcasing hand-glazed pottery, hand-dyed scarves, and wooden kitchenware
- Workshops — short sessions on linen care, basic mending, and gift wrapping with sustainable materials
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet designers, ask questions about sourcing, and see how pieces are constructed up close. Our team will host short talks on slow fashion and product care.
Location and times
The event will be held at the Harbor Lane Collective, 120 Harbor Street, Portland. Doors open at 10 AM on all three days and close at 6 PM. Entry is free, but workshop seats are limited and can be reserved through our events page.
We designed this pop-up as a chance to connect directly with our community and celebrate craftsmanship in a tactile way.
Why a pop-up
For small brands, pop-ups offer an invaluable opportunity to get feedback and build relationships. Online photos tell part of the story; real life reveals texture, construction, and how garments move. We also love meeting customers and learning how our pieces fit into their daily rhythms.
Health and safety
We will follow local health guidelines to ensure a comfortable environment. Hand sanitizing stations and limited-capacity workshops will be in effect. Masks will be welcome indoors if participants prefer.
Press and partnership
Members of the press may request preview access. Local partners include a nearby coffee roaster and bakery who will provide small bites throughout the weekend.
How to join
Reserve workshop spots and sign up for event updates via our website events page. We expect some limited pieces to sell out at the pop-up, so planning ahead is recommended.
We look forward to seeing you there and sharing a weekend of craft, conversation, and community.
